Statement of Work
Still finding her way, colour, shape and texture continue to intrigue Juliet, and she draws inspiration from her passion for books, cinema, history and the magical, mythical world. Her textile art allows her to practice the therapeutic act of stitching and explore the images evoked by what she has seen and read.
Textile Practice
Juliet continually challenges herself with each new piece, wanting to explore just that little bit further with different materials and techniques. Re-purposing is a key feature of her work stretching her imagination as to how to use and give new life to something old and discarded. She just loves how they bloom.
