The natural world is what usually inspires Valerie Boon’s work. This comes especially from a love of Africa, birds and the seashore.
Textile Practice
Valerie enjoys machine embroidery, felt making and silk paper making. She is at present experimenting using paper and wood in her designs and also trying to get away from ‘pictorial’ pieces!
