Statement of Work

Florals and landscapes are the recurring themes in Wendy’s work often inspired by her own photos of gardens or her travels at home and abroad.

Textile Practice

Free machine embroidery is Wendy’s first love but she also enjoys hand stitching and has recently been experimenting with print transfer processes and gelli plate printing to create mixed media pieces. She likes creating texture by adding embellishments by hand or using her embellisher machine to merge fabrics together.
